F.A. Charter Mark
GLFC have achieved Charter Mark recognition from the F.A.
The F.A. Charter Mark is credited only to Clubs meeting the required criteria :
- Written constitution
- Screening certification for all managers, coaches and officials
- Managers and coaches to achieve a minimum of F.A. Level 1 coaching qualification
- Adherence to Codes of Conduct for Officials, players and spectators
- Equal opportunities for all and dealing with Child Protection and Best Practice issues
The objectives of the Charter award are simple :
- Improve standards and ensure quality provision of football
GLFC is showing to members, parents and public that it is a well organised and safe football club
The award is the result of great care and effort put in by all club members - from the club executive through to every single footballer having played their parts.
